Clean & Tight Bass

The port tubes on some speakers cause air to escape at different speeds from various opening points. This is the culprit behind the so-called "chuffing" or loud air sounds produced by speakers when playing bass-heavy tunes. We designed the speaker's port tubes to let air leave at a constant speed. By doing so, the sound monitor can dish out rumbling bass without the unnecessary noise.

Tweaked To Perfection

Whether you place the speaker on a stand, a desk, or a console bridge, you can count on it to deliver impressive sound quality at all times. Behind the sound monitor is a row of dip switches, each one controlling a specific aspect of the speaker's output. Switches 1 to 3 are for adjusting the boundary compensation EQs. 4 to 5 control the LF trim. 6 and 7 are for the HF trim. Lastly, switch 8 controls power to the RCA port.

Connecting a studio monitor to your mixers and audio equipment has never been this easy. This speaker features balanced XLR and TRS ports, as well as an unbalanced RCA input.

You may adjust the RCA input to -10dBu sensitivity if you’re using the speaker with consumer devices like laptops or smartphones. We recommend placing the studio monitor 0.5 to 3.5 meters away from your position for an optimal listening experience.
